Service Manual Development Intern

Role Overview:

What You ll Do:

• Study existing design documents, BOMs, and technical drawings to understand Raptee T30 systems (mechanical, electrical, electronic, and mechatronic).
• Assist senior engineers in breaking down assemblies into serviceable sub assemblies and defining step by step procedures.
• Observe and record actual service/repair operations (photos, videos, checklists, tool lists, torque values, safety notes).
• Draft clear, structured service procedures (removal, installation, inspection, troubleshooting) under guidance from mentors.
• Help create wiring diagram annotations, connector pin outs, and diagnostic flowcharts for EV and low voltage systems.
• Support definition of periodic maintenance schedules and standard job cards for the Raptee T30.
• Participate in pilot trials of the draft service manual with technicians; capture feedback and update content.
• Ensure consistency of terminology, formatting, safety warnings, and torque/specification tables across the manual.
• Maintain organized digital documentation (version control, change log, index, and content library).

Who Can Apply?

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automobile, or related disciplines (final year or recent graduates).
• Basic understanding of two wheeler systems (chassis, brakes, suspension, powertrain, LV/HV electricals).
• Comfort with tools like MS Office / Google Docs; exposure to CAD or schematic tools is a plus.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills (clear, simple, and structured language).
• Ability to observe workshop activities carefully and translate them into practical instructions.
• Attention to detail for specifications, units, and safety notes.
• Good teamwork and communication skills; willingness to take feedback and iterate quickly.
• Self driven, organized, and able to meet weekly content milestones within the three month period.
