Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager Genset for our operations in Kampala, Congo. This is a full-time senior-level position based in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years and a maximum of 10 years of relevant work experience in managing genset services. The role requires someone with expertise in genset maintenance and who can manage service operations effectively while building strong customer relationships.

Qualifications And Skills

• Proven expertise and technical proficiency in genset maintenance (Mandatory skill).
• Demonstrated experience in preventive maintenance practices to ensure equipment longevity and reliability.
• Strong skills in customer relationship management to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
• Capability in troubleshooting complex issues effectively to minimize downtime and service interruptions.
• Proficiency with diesel engines, including repair, maintenance, and operations to support service objectives.
• Solid understanding and experience in managing service operations to streamline processes and optimize resource utilization.
• Proven ability in project management, coordinating tasks, schedules, and resources to ensure timely service delivery.
• Experience in vendor coordination to manage supplies, ensure quality, and maintain cost-effectiveness.
  

Roles And Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of gensets, ensuring all equipment is operational and well-maintained at all times.
• Develop and implement comprehensive preventive maintenance plans to avoid unexpected breakdowns and extend equipment life.
• Manage a team of service professionals, ensuring they are well-trained and equipped for their tasks.
• Foster strong customer relationships through effective communication and by addressing service-related issues promptly and efficiently.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and services as needed.
• Conduct regular reviews of service operations to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
• Prepare and manage service budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising on service quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all service processes and operations.
