Service Engineer

As a Service and Maintenance Engineer for industrial chain products, your primary responsibility will be to perform day-to-day tasks related to service and maintenance. This includes troubleshooting technical issues and providing onsite customer support. You will be involved in the installation and optimization of heavy material movement equipment, utilizing manpower and machinery effectively. Additionally, you will assist in electrical installation activities following technical instructions and safety protocols. Successful commissioning of equipment and ensuring customer satisfaction through proper handover documentation will also be part of your duties. You will also play a key role in promoting and selling allied components like spare parts and consumables to customers. Regular reporting on project progress to both the functional manager and the customer will be essential. To qualify for this role, you should have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field. A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in servicing and maintenance of industrial products is required. Preferred skills include technical troubleshooting, problem-solving abilities, strong communication, and customer service skills. You should be able to work independently and possess sales acumen for promoting allied components. It is important to note that this position requires extensive travel across India and abroad as needed. You should also be willing to support production activities when there are no ongoing installation or commissioning projects. Local candidates will be given preference for this role.,
