Service Engineer - Projects

Responsibilities *

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation and Assembly:Overseeing the Machine assembly, Machine & Field wiring, Machine inhouse trials
• Packing & dispatch of the machine, Installation & commissioning, Machinemaintenance, factory maintenance & helping Projects dept
• in regular ongoing projects when not on site
• Coordination:Collaborating with mechanical, design, Projects & other teams to ensure seamlessproject execution
• On site Installation & Commissioning, attending AMC, Sparesorders generation, Creating and Attending New machines enquiry, Generation ofSpares enquiry and Consumables enquiry, Changeover enquiry etc
• Also helping Projects dept in machine manufacturing & documentation when not on service visit
• On-site Commissioning:Regular travelling in and outside Pune, and customer sites all over India andmanaging the installation and commissioning of machine at the client's site, servicingetc
• Maintaining reports, correspondence with customer and sharing with reportingand higher authorities on daily basis
• Documentation:Preparation of Service visit reports, Spare part lists etc, Order generation andmaintain records
• Design and Development:Knowledge of detailed schematics, Drawings and layouts for control panels,operational needs and safety standards
• Testing and Troubleshooting:Conducting thorough testing of machines before dispatch
• Perfect installation withproficiency on site to ensure correct functionality of machine
• Knowledge of Handson Troubleshooting of mechanical & electrical issues, identifying faulty components or wiring errors
• Programming and Commissioning:Knowledge of PLC required
• Programming and configuring PLCs (ProgrammableLogic Controllers) and HMIs (Human Machine Interfaces) to control the panel'sfunctions
• Debugging and fault-finding proficiency is a must
• Safety Compliance:Ensuring all work adheres to relevant safety standards and regulations of thecompany
• Maintenance and Upgrades:Performing routine maintenance, upgrades, and modifications to ensure optimalperformance and compliance with evolving standards for machines on all customerand job shop sites

Desired profile of the candidate *Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical systems,mechanical components, and control panel design principles, with Handsonexperience of machine and Trunkey installation and commissioning on site
• PLC and HMI Programming: Proficiency in programming andtroubleshooting PLCs (eg, Mitsubishi, Siemens) and HMIs
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues(Electrical & Mechanical) effectively
• Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with teammembers and stakeholders, Clients
• Project Management: Ability to manage projects, meet deadlines, andwork within given budget
• CAD Software: Experience with hands ON CAD software would beconsidered as an additional advantage
• Safety Awareness: Commitment to adhering to safety standards andpractices
• Experience Minimum 5 years in Trunkey Machine installation &commissioning & servicing of machines with hands on working capability
