Service Engineer

As an experienced Machinery Technician, you will be responsible for installing, setting up, and maintaining machinery and equipment at customer sites or within manufacturing facilities. Your key responsibilities will include: - Installing and setting up machinery and equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality. - Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment. - Diagnosing technical issues and providing quick resolutions to minimize downtime. - Replacing faulty parts and documenting repair work. - Responding to service calls and resolving customer complaints related to machinery. - Providing on-site or remote troubleshooting support to resolve operational issues. - Collaborating with other engineers or technicians to develop solutions for recurring issues. - Maintaining detailed service reports, work orders, and technical documentation. - Documenting maintenance schedules and tracking machine performance trends. - Training customers or in-house operators on equipment usage and best practices. - Providing recommendations for machine improvements and efficiency optimization. - Ensuring all service activities comply with safety regulations and company policies. - Following industry standards and protocols for equipment handling and servicing. Qualifications & Skills: - Education: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Industrial Engineering. - Experience: 1 - 3 years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing or industrial environment. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and customer service skills. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
