About the Role

Service Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Install, test, and commission equipment/machines at customer sites.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or electronic issues and implement solutions.
Provide technical support and product training to customers.
Maintain detailed service reports and documentation.
Ensure timely resolution of service requests and customer complaints.
Coordinate with internal teams for spare parts, technical support, and escalation.
Adhere to safety standards and company service protocols.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of mechanical/electrical/electronic systems (as applicable).
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and manuals.
Hands-on experience with tools, testing instruments, and troubleshooting methods.
Good communication and customer-handling abilities.
Willingness to travel extensively.
Ability to work independently and manage field tasks efficiently.

Preferred Experience

Experience in field service, equipment maintenance, or product installation.
Exposure to [ICU like ECG, Ventilators etc...].
Knowledge of PLCs, automation systems, calibration tools, or diagnostic software (optional based on role).
