Job Title: Service Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Service Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and systems at client sites or in-house. The Service Engineer will ensure optimal performance, minimize downtime, and provide excellent technical support to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and configure equipment and systems as per specifications
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventive servicing
• Diagnose technical issues and carry out effective repairs in a timely manner
• Respond to service calls and provide on-site and remote technical support
• Maintain accurate service reports, logs, and documentation
• Train customers or end users on equipment operation and basic maintenance
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
• Coordinate with internal teams for parts replacement, upgrades, and escalations
• Support product upgrades, modifications, and testing as required

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, IT, or related field)
• Proven experience as a Service Engineer or in a similar technical role
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Willingness to travel and work on-site as required
• Basic knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in field service or customer-facing technical roles
• Knowledge of relevant software, tools, or diagnostic systems
• Valid driver’s license (if field-based role)

Working Conditions

• Field-based and/or workshop-based role
• May require travel, flexible hours, or on-call support
• Occasional lifting of equipment and working in technical environments
