Job Description (Business Development executive) Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and emerging technologies in the machine or automation sector. Analyze competitors and market conditions to develop a strategic understanding of the industry. Client Identification and Acquisition: Identify and target potential clients who can benefit from the company's machine or automation solutions. Develop and implement strategies to acquire new clients and expand the customer base. Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers. Collaborate with technical teams to understand client needs and tailor solutions accordingly. Sales and Revenue Generation: Work closely with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies. Meet and exceed sales targets by promoting machine or automation products/services to potential clients. Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the latest developments in machine and automation technologies. Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the company's products/services to clients. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the management team to develop long-term business development strategies aligned with company goals. Provide input on product development and enhancements based on market feedback. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements. Review and finalize contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Networking: Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote the company and establish connections. Represent the company in a professional manner to enhance its reputation in the industry. Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure the success of business development strategies. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, finance, and operations, to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to business development. Training and Education: Conduct training sessions for clients on product usage, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Keep clients informed about updates, improvements, and best practices. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, engineering, and customer support teams to maintain a unified approach in addressing client needs. Provide technical input for marketing materials and participate in industry events. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
