Service Engineer (ICU Equipment)

You will be responsible for repairing, servicing, and installing older and new medical equipment in the healthcare industry. Your primary duty will be to conduct on-site installations, repairs, and maintenance of medical equipment, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to safety protocols. You will need to complete full service reports and all associated documentation for each service call. Additionally, you may need to provide technical support and training to healthcare professionals on the operation and maintenance of medical equipment. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct on-site installations, repairs, and maintenance of medical equipment - Provide technical support and training to healthcare professionals - Diagnose equipment malfunctions, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions - Collaborate with cross-functional teams for timely delivery of services and customer satisfaction - Be flexible with hours to accommodate client needs or emergencies - Travel as required for service calls Qualifications Required: - Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field - Minimum 3 years of service/maintenance/installation/demonstration experience in the medical device or healthcare industry - Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and software aspects of medical devices - Preferred age within 30 years - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users - Familiarity with healthcare equipment safety standards - Ability to work independently and adapt to changing situations The company offers benefits such as leave encashment and Provident Fund.
