Job Summary:

Service Engineer

cylinder assembly, refurbishment, and testing

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct

  onsite visits

  for inspection, diagnosis, and maintenance of hydraulic cylinders.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and rectify

  hydraulic-related problems, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Provide customers with

  effective and technically sound solutions

  during service calls.
• Perform

  assembly, disassembly, and full assessment

  of hydraulic cylinders in the workshop.
• Participate in

  refurbishment and repair activities

  – re-chroming, seal replacement, rod repair, pressure testing, etc.
• Prepare and submit an

  Official Service Report

  after every visit, detailing observations, findings, and actions taken.
• Maintain proper documentation of service activities and customer interactions.
• Coordinate with

  design, production, and quality teams

  for technical feedback and product improvement.
• Ensure adherence to

  safety, quality, and company service standards

  at all times.
• Assist in

  after-sales technical support

  and build strong customer relationships.

Candidate Profile:

• Education:

  Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

• Experience:

  Minimum 5 years

  of experience in a

  Hydraulic Cylinder Manufacturing company

  (mandatory).
• Excellent understanding of

  hydraulic systems, seals, materials, assembly, and testing procedures.

• Hands-on experience with

  hydraulic cylinder assembly, pressure testing, and refurbishment.

• Ability to

  analyze failure causes

  and recommend durable, cost-effective solutions.

• Smart, proactive, and customer-focused

  , with excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently for service visits and assist in factory operations when required.
