SERVICE ENGINEER - HYDRAULIC CYLINDERS Location: Kolkata, West Bengal Department: Service & Technical Support Experience: Minimum 5 Years (Hydraulic Cylinder Manufacturing Industry) Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Service Engineer from a Hydraulic Cylinder Manufacturing background with strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in hydraulic systems. The candidate will handle onsite servicing, troubleshooting, inspection, and technical support for hydraulic cylinders across mining, steel, aluminum, construction, and industrial applications. When not engaged in field assignments, the engineer will support cylinder assembly, refurbishment, and testing operations at the factory. Key Responsibilities: Conduct onsite visits for inspection, diagnosis, and maintenance of hydraulic cylinders. Identify, troubleshoot, and rectify hydraulic-related problems, ensuring minimal downtime. Provide customers with effective and technically sound solutions during service calls. Perform assembly, disassembly, and full assessment of hydraulic cylinders in the workshop. Participate in refurbishment and repair activities – re-chroming, seal replacement, rod repair, pressure testing, etc. Prepare and submit an Official Service Report after every visit, detailing observations, findings, and actions taken. Maintain proper documentation of service activities and customer interactions. Coordinate with design, production, and quality teams for technical feedback and product improvement.
