Job Description

Job Summary -

The Service Engineer is responsible for installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of manufacturing machines and equipment at customer sites and/or in-house facilities. The role ensures optimal equipment performance, minimum downtime, and high customer satisfaction while complying with safety and quality stand.

Key Responsibilities :-

Installation & Commissioning:-

Install, commission, and test machines and systems at customer sites
Perform alignment, calibration, and functional checks.
Ensure compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.
Provide operator and maintenance training to customers

Field Service & Customer Support:-

Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
Handle warranty and post-warranty service activities.
Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints.
Maintain professional communication and customer relationships.

Documentation & Reporting :-

Prepare detailed service reports and job completion records.
Maintain maintenance history and breakdown analysis.
Update service manuals, checklists, and spare part records.
Support audits and compliance documentation

Spare Parts & Coordination:-

Identify and recommend required spare parts.
Coordinate with stores, purchase, and logistics teams.
Support AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) execution.
Ensure availability of critical spares to improve machine uptime.

Qualification:-

BE/B Tech Mechanical/ Electrical

Requirement:-

Minimum 4-6 years experience
Ready to travel
