Role Overview

Service Delivery Manager (SDM)

Key Responsibilities

Project & Service Delivery

• Manage the full delivery lifecycle of Java development/support projects.
• Ensure adherence to SLAs and governance frameworks.
• Drive project planning, resource management, and on-time delivery.

Team & Technical Oversight

• Lead and mentor distributed Agile teams (Java developers, QA, DevOps, and support).
• Collaborate with Architects and Tech Leads to maintain technical excellence.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for client delivery.
• Provide regular updates on delivery status, risks, and performance metrics.

Continuous Improvement

• Implement improvements in DevOps, automation, and delivery KPIs.
• Focus on enhancing scalability, performance, and system reliability.

  Role & responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in delivery or program management.
• Strong technical expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Proven track record of managing multiple Java-based projects and distributed teams.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery, including sprint planning and metrics tracking.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, CSM, or SAFe.
• Industry experience in BFSI, Healthcare, Retail, or Telecom.
