Key Responsibilities:

  • Task Management & Supervision:Assigning tasks to technicians based on their skills, monitoring their progress, and ensuring timely completion of vehicle service, repair, and maintenance.
  • Quality Control:Ensuring all work is performed to OEM guidelines and company standards, minimizing repeat complaints.
  • Team Management:Leading and guiding a team of technicians, providing support, and addressing any issues or conflicts.
  • Inventory & Resource Management:Managing tools, equipment, and spare parts to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Safety & Compliance:Enforcing safety protocols, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and adhering to all relevant regulations.
  • Communication & Reporting:Communicating with service advisors, other departments, and senior management regarding work progress and any issues.
  • Customer Interaction:Greeting customers, understanding their concerns, and explaining necessary repairs and maintenance. Interacting with customers, understanding their concerns, and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Service Recommendations:Providing informed advice on warranty coverage, potential cost savings, and the advantages of different repair or maintenance options, often in consultation with technicians.
  • Scheduling and Coordination:Managing appointments, coordinating with technicians and parts departments, and ensuring smooth workflow within the service center.
  • Customer Satisfaction:Ensuring customers are satisfied with the service provided and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Sales and Up selling:Recommending additional services or parts based on vehicle needs, contributing to the overall revenue of the service department.
  • Warranty and Insurance:Explaining warranty information, processing claims, and coordinating with insurance companies.

Required Skills & Attributes:

  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of two-wheeler vehicles and their components.
  • Leadership & Teamwork: Ability to motivate, guide, and work effectively with a team.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Clear and effective communication with technicians, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Organizational & Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain a well-organized work environment.
