Job Summary

As a part of our service team, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment, ensuring smooth operations, and delivering outstanding guest experiences. Whether serving food & drinks, managing the bar, supervising staff, or leading the restaurant, you will represent the warmth and excellence of Indian Desire.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests warmly.
• Present menu, explain specials, and answer guest queries.
• Take food & beverage orders accurately and process them in the POS system.
• Serve food and drinks promptly and correctly.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and resolve concerns professionally.
• Clear and reset tables, maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff for smooth operations.
• Upsell menu items and promote specials.
• For senior positions (Captain/Manager):
• Supervise and train service staff.
• Ensure high service standards and smooth daily operations.
• Handle guest escalations and manage reservations.
• Oversee inventory, supplies, and compliance with hygiene/safety standards.
• Support financial goals and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant / hospitality experience preferred (required for Captain/Manager roles).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude, teamwork, and ability to multitask.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Leadership skills and managerial experience (for Captain/Manager roles).
