Job Description

Job Title: SEO Manager

6 Days Working

Job Summary

  • Develop and execute end-to-end SEO strategies (technical, on-page, and off-page) to increase organic traffic and improve SERP rankings for ethnic fashion categories (e.g., sarees, lehengas, kurta sets, etc.)
  • Conduct keyword research specific to Indian ethnic fashion trends, festive shopping behavior, regional demand, and occasion-based searches
  • Optimize product/category pages, blogs, look books, and landing pages for search engines and shoppers alike
  • Collaborate with content and creative teams to develop SEO-friendly product descriptions, meta tags, blog articles, and seasonal campaign pages
  • Implement technical SEO audits and ensure site speed, crawlability, structured data, and mobile optimization
  • Track and report SEO performance using tools like Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.
  • Monitor competitors, industry trends, and algorithm updates; recommend strategies to stay ahead in the fashion retail landscape
  • Work with web developers to improve site architecture and navigation aligned with user intent and search demand
  • Lead backlinking efforts through influencer/blogger outreach, fashion publications, and PR collaborations
  • Optimize for voice search and local SEO (for offline stores)

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications, IT, or related field
  • 4+ years of hands-on SEO experience (in-house or agency)
  • Experience optimizing multilingual or regional content (Hindi/Tamil/Telugu/Bengali SEO is a plus)
  • Passion for fashion and understanding of Indian traditional wear and seasonal trends
  • Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking factors
  • Experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Moz, etc.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
  • Understanding of CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, Magento)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in eCommerce SEO
  • Knowledge of international/multilingual SEO strategies
  • Familiarity with CRO, content marketing, and social media integration
