Brief Job Description
1. Assistant IT Manager responsible for coordinating, planning, and leading computer-related activities in the organization.
2. Supervise the implementation and maintenance of our companys Computing needs.
3. Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems.
4. Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy.
5. Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time.
6. Audit systems and assess their outcomes.
7. Preserve assets, information security and control structures.
8. Managing voice, video and data connections.
9. Will ensure that all the services run smoothly, also ensure security measures taken against any vulnerabilities in software programs used on a day-to-day basis
10. Responsible for overseeing and handling network configuration, Servers, Workstations, Networking equipment, email accounts, and also support for the underlying server/desktop infrastructure.
11. Knowledge of CAT5/6 cabling, wireless networks, network switches, WAN/LAN, domain controller, Active Directory, firewall and VPN applications.
12. Prepare & Implement Preventive Maintenance Schedule for all IT hardware & Software.
Responsible to ensure that IT Audit points are implemented as per relevant Standard operating Procedures.
