SEO Intern

Location: Koregaon Park, Pune

Job Type: Internship (Unpaid for the 1st month, stipend based on performance for the following 2 months)

Duration: 3 Months

Overview: We are a fast-growing clothing brand looking for a passionate and dedicated SEO Intern to help us enhance our online presence and improve the performance of our website. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to learn hands-on SEO strategies, including keyword optimization, content creation, and analytics, in the fashion and e-commerce industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct keyword research to identify the most relevant keywords for our clothing brand.
• Optimize product descriptions, blog posts, and other website content for search engines.
• Analyze website traffic and rankings using Google Analytics and other SEO tools.
• Assist in identifying opportunities for internal and external linking to improve SEO performance.
• Help with on-page optimization by updating meta tags, alt text, and URL structure.
• Monitor and report on SEO performance through tracking tools and assist in developing strategies to boost rankings.
• Collaborate with the marketing and content team to create SEO-friendly articles and blog posts related to fashion and trends.
• Assist in keeping up with SEO trends, algorithm changes, and competitors in the fashion industry.

Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of SEO, including knowledge of search engine algorithms.
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets).
• A strong interest in digital marketing, SEO, and the fashion industry.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Ability to learn quickly and apply new skills in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience or coursework in digital marketing, SEO, or e-commerce.
• Knowledge of website platforms like Shopify, WordPress, or similar CMS platforms.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Moz).
• Understanding of fashion trends and a passion for clothing brands.

Compensation:

• First month: Unpaid
• Second & third months: Stipend based on your performance during the first month.
