Role Description

We are looking for a SEO & Google Merchant Center Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for improving organic visibility, managing Google Merchant Center accounts, ensuring policy compliance, and optimizing product feeds to support scalable e-commerce growth. This role requires a strong understanding of SEO, Google ecosystems, and D2C e-commerce operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute

  SEO strategies

  to improve website rankings and organic traffic
• Conduct

  keyword research

  , on-page optimization, and content optimization
• Manage and optimize

  Google Merchant Center

  accounts
• Create, maintain, and troubleshoot

  product feeds

  for Google Shopping
• Ensure

  policy compliance

  and resolve account disapprovals or suspensions
• Monitor website performance using

  Google Analytics, Search Console

  , and other tools
• Conduct

  competitor analysis

  and identify growth opportunities
• Collaborate with content, development, and performance marketing teams
• Continuously track performance and optimize for visibility, CTR, and conversions

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong expertise in

  SEO (on-page, off-page, and technical SEO)

• Hands-on experience with Google Merchant Center

  and Shopping feeds
• Proficiency in

  Google Analytics, Search Console

  , and SEO tools
• Ability to troubleshoot

  technical SEO and GMC issues

  effectively
• Understanding of

  e-commerce best practices

  and D2C business models
• Experience with

  product feed optimization

  and structured data
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in

  Marketing, IT, Computer Science, or a related field

• Prior experience in herbal, wellness, health, or Ayurveda-focused brands

• Experience working with Shopify-based e-commerce stores
