Job Description

Role Summary

Zendesk Developer / Zendesk Support Engineer

Experience Required

Minimum
5+ years of experience
in Zendesk Support and Zendesk ecosystem
Proven experience in
Zendesk Help Center customization
Strong hands-on experience in
Zendesk App Framework (ZAF)
and application development

Key Responsibilities

Configure, customize, and manage
Zendesk Support
workflows including triggers, automations, macros, views, SLAs, and business rules
Customize and manage
Zendesk Help Center
including themes, templates, layouts, and content organization
Design and develop custom applications using
Zendesk App Framework (ZAF)
Integrate Zendesk with third-party tools and internal systems using APIs and webhooks
Build and maintain custom scripts and extensions using
JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Optimize workflows and improve agent efficiency through automation and configuration
Troubleshoot Zendesk issues and provide advanced technical support
Maintain documentation for configurations, integrations, and custom apps
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate into solutions
Support Zendesk upgrades, enhancements, and platform changes

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong experience with:

Zendesk Support
Zendesk Help Center (Guide)
Zendesk Explore (Reporting)
Zendesk App Framework (ZAF)

Hands-on experience with:

JavaScript
HTML / CSS
REST APIs

Experience with:

Zapier / Webhooks / Middleware (good to have)
CRM or ticketing system integrations

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and manage tasks end-to-end
