Department: SRM - Centre for Immersive Technologies

Academic Qualification: B.E. /B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech in relevant discipline

Mandatory Skill Set: Excellent skills in C# and/or C++

Additional Skill Set Desirable but not mandatory: Advanced computing tools like GPU programming, AR libraries, Python, Java Scripts, etc

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as Unity or Unreal Developer with good knowledge in the functionalities of the tools

Desirable knowledge: Scripting, textures, animation, GUI styles, User session management, game physics, 3D

Desirable Additional Attributes: ● Constantly learn and stay in touch with evolving standards ● Code versioning tools such as Git ● Critical thinker and problem-solving skills ● Team player ● Good time-management skills

Roles and Responsibilities: ● Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code ● Ensure the best performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications developed for industrial projects and SRMIST immersive learning curriculum ● Plan and implement immersive learning functionality for various curriculum under SRMIST and projects conceptualized through industrial collaboration ● Assist in laboratory course content preparation for courses and training programs offered through the centre ● Establish effective strategy and development pipeline ● Offer and implement solutions in a timely manner ● Maintenance of computing hardware resources and application software maintenance
