About the Role:

We are seeking a highly creative and independent WordPress Developer to design, implement, and manage websites for our diverse clientele. This role is not for someone who just follows instructions — we need a problem-solver with initiative, who owns outcomes, contributes ideas, and consistently raises the bar.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & implement new features and functionalities for WordPress websites.
• Establish and maintain website architecture for optimal performance and scalability.
• Ensure pixel-perfect UI/UX, responsiveness, and high availability.

Theme & Plugin Customization:

• Develop custom themes and plugins as per project needs.
• Enhance existing themes/plugins to improve functionality & user experience.

Creativity & Innovation:

• Propose new design concepts, animations, and user experience enhancements.
• Proactively suggest improvements in aesthetics, speed, and conversion rates.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with design, content, and marketing teams to turn concepts into functional websites.
• Contribute to planning discussions and offer technical insights.

Maintenance & Optimization:

• Conduct regular performance audits, implement speed & SEO optimizations.
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues proactively.

Requirements:

• Proven experience building custom WordPress websites using Elementor Pro.
• Strong ability to convert Figma designs into responsive WordPress sites.
• Mastery of WordPress core, PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, and MySQL.
• Experience creating and modifying custom plugins & themes.
• Familiarity with AI tools and their integration into workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills & attention to detail — no tolerance for sloppy UI.
• Effective communicator who can work independently and handle multiple projects.
• Demonstrated creativity, initiative, and self-direction.

Preferred Skills:

• WooCommerce development experience.
• Familiarity with front-end animation libraries (GSAP, ScrollMagic, etc.).
• Mentoring juniors or managing small teams.
• Experience with Git, deployment workflows, and SEO best practices.
