Senior WMI Consultant - Warehouse Management

Job Description

Position: Senior WMI Consultant - Warehouse Management Shift Timings: Afternoon 2 PM to 12 IST Year of Experience: 7 12 years Position Overview The role requires an experienced professional with expertise in Manhattans iSeries-based WMi solution to manage, configure, support, and integrate the Warehouse Management System (WMS) within an organizations logistics and supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities: WMi Implementation & Support: Implement end-to-end WMi projects , ensuring smooth integration with Transportation management Systems (TMS) and Order Management Systems (OMS) . Configure, troubleshoot, and resolve WMi system issues. Work with vendors to resolve software-related issues . Provide off-hours support including weekends, holidays, and rotational on-call duties System Integration & Development: Ensure proper integration of WMi with other technical teams and systems. Develop custom product extensions and interfaces (nice to have). Work with API configurations and related interfaces . Testing & Quality Assurance: Participate in QA testing and UAT activities . Ensure all incidents are resolved within SLAs Mentorship & Documentation: Mentor junior team members on programming and testing techniques. Maintain detailed documentation of configurations and troubleshooting processes. Minimum Qualifications: 7+ years of experience working with Manhattans iSeries-based WMi solution . Strong experience in WMi configuration, API integration, and support. Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and handle complex technical challenges. Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience with iSeries/RPG programming (AS/400). Knowledge of Warehouse Management & Fulfillment systems. Experience with LogPro PKMS and Distribution technologies (RF, mobile, label printers, MHE). Ideal Candidate Profile: This role is best suited for someone with strong technical expertise in Manhattans WMi solution , who can i ndependently manage system configurations, integrations, and support.
