Job Description

As a Senior Web Analytics Manager at SmartBear, you will lead the web analytics strategy and measurement across global web properties. Your responsibilities will include driving data-informed decisions through experimentation and insights, as well as ensuring privacy-compliant data collection and governance. - Define and maintain analytics measurement plans, KPIs, and dashboards for all SmartBear web properties - Produce regular insights reports for web, SEO, paid media, and product marketing stakeholders - Administer Google Analytics 4 configuration and properties, ensuring clean, reliable data collection - Manage Google Tag Manager containers, including governance, naming conventions, and quality assurance - Support A/B testing strategy from ideation through implementation and results analysis - Partner with UI/UX and development teams to implement tracking requirements using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript - Manage cookie consent implementations and ensure data collection complies with regional privacy laws You should have: - 6+ years in digital analytics, with 2+ years leading large-scale GA4 implementations - Expertise with Google Tag Manager 360, including server-side tagging and custom JavaScript variables - Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for troubleshooting and implementing tracking scripts - Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills for ad-hoc analysis - Experience building and analyzing A/B and multivariate tests in platforms like VWO, Convert.com, or Optimizely - Strong skills in Looker Studio for dashboard creation and visualization - Experience with marketing operations tools and workflows - Excellent communication skills with the ability to transform data into compelling stories and recommendations - Understanding of 6sense or similar account-based marketing platforms Nice to have: - Experience with Tableau for advanced data visualization - Proven track record leveraging AI tools to expedite analysis and streamline workflows - Familiarity with privacy-focused consent management platforms - Exposure to SEO tools such as Ahrefs or Google Search Console - Prior experience in B2B SaaS or developer-focused products At SmartBear, we believe in making the technology-driven world a better place.
