Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video editing for advertising, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for storytelling. As a Senior Video Editor, you will work closely with our creative directors, producers, and other team members to craft compelling video content for digital and social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Video Editing: Edit and assemble high-quality video content from raw footage, ensuring it aligns with the creative vision and brand guidelines.
• Creative Collaboration: Collaborate with the creative team, including directors, producers, and designers, to bring ideas to life and ensure the final product meets client expectations.
• Storytelling: Utilize your strong storytelling abilities to craft engaging narratives that resonate with the target audience.
• Post-production: Handle post-production tasks, including color grading, sound design, and visual effects to create polished, professional videos.
• Client Interaction: Work directly with clients to understand their vision and feedback, ensuring the final product meets their needs and expectations.
• Project Management: Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining high quality.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior video editors, sharing your expertise and helping them grow in their craft.
• Trends & Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, ensuring that our video content remains fresh and innovative.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in video editing, preferably in an advertising or creative agency setting.
• Software Proficiency: Expert in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve. Experience with motion graphics and 3D animation is a plus.
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of work, including digital and social media content, brand videos, and advertising campaigns.
• Creative Vision: Strong understanding of pacing, composition, and visual storytelling. Ability to think creatively and problem-solve.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of video production, from editing to color correction and audio mixing.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate creative concepts and feedback clearly.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of creatives, clients, and stakeholders.
• Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with 3D animation and visual effects.
• Background in motion graphics and design.
• Knowledge of cinematography and camera equipment.
• Familiarity with video encoding and compression techniques for various platforms (social media, digital).
