Head of Video Editing

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead the video editing function and oversee the production of high-quality digital videos.
• Edit and assemble raw footage, recordings, and voiceovers into compelling content.
• Add motion graphics, lower-thirds, intros/outros, and other creative elements.
• Ensure edits are clean, fast-paced, and visually appealing for digital platforms.
• Collaborate closely with producers, designers, and content teams to meet strict deadlines.
• Maintain brand consistency and adhere to industry best practices.
• Perform color correction, sound balancing, and video/audio enhancements.
• Stay updated on the latest editing trends, tools, and AI-driven techniques.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in video editing (preferably in digital, entertainment, or creative industries).
• Proficiency in:

• Adobe Premiere Pro

• Final Cut Pro

• After Effects

  (motion graphics)

• DaVinci Resolve

  (color grading)

• Photoshop/Illustrator

  (graphics & thumbnails)
• Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics.
• Ability to deliver high-quality edits under tight deadlines.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and a results-driven mindset.

Nice to Have

• Experience in animation, cartoon, or creative storytelling.
• Familiarity with live editing or multi-camera workflows.
• Knowledge of digital-first content formats (shorts, reels, YouTube optimization).
