Senior Video Editor

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit daily video content, interviews, news features, and social media stories for digital platforms
• Collaborate with reporters, producers, and the digital team to deliver timely and impactful visual narratives
• Add voiceovers, sound effects, music, graphics, and subtitles to enhance storytelling
• Optimize videos for multiple platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and website)
• Manage video storage, backup, and archiving efficiently
• Stay updated with trends in digital video content and evolving editing techniques
• Guide junior editors and contribute creative ideas for content strategy

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of professional video editing experience

  in a

  news, digital, or media organization

  (mandatory)
• Strong command over

  Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and related editing tools

• Excellent sense of timing, pacing, and visual storytelling
• Familiarity with newsroom workflows and tight deadlines
• Basic knowledge of shooting and production is a plus
• Creative, organized, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
