Senior UI/UX Designer

As a UI/UX Designer, you will play a crucial role in leading the design process from concept to delivery with a strong focus on a user-centered approach. Your responsibilities will include conducting user research and usability testing to gather insights, creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design concepts. Additionally, you will be developing and maintaining design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across products and collaborating closely with engineers to ensure accurate and efficient implementation of designs. A key aspect of your role will be advocating for user needs and design best practices throughout the product development lifecycle. You will also have the opportunity to mentor and guide junior designers, as well as present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders while effectively communicating design rationale. Staying up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends and technologies will be essential to your success in this position. The ideal candidate for this role should have at least 5 years of professional experience in UI/UX design and a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects that highlight a user-centered approach. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar is required, along with a solid understanding of user research methodologies and usability testing. Experience with creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups, as well as knowledge of design systems, style guides, and interaction design principles, are also important qualifications. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential, as you will be working both independently and as part of a team. Experience with responsive design, mobile-first principles, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is preferred, and familiarity with accessibility guidelines (WCAG) would be a plus.
