As a Senior UI/UX Designer with 5-7 years of experience, you will be responsible for shaping the user experience of products from concept to implementation. Your key responsibilities include: - Lead Design Initiatives: Own the UI/UX design process for key products, guiding them from discovery to final visual design through wireframing, prototyping, testing, and implementation. - User Research & Analysis: Conduct user research to understand behaviors, needs, and pain points. Translate findings into actionable design insights. - Information Architecture & Wireframing: Develop clear information architectures, user flows, and site maps. Create wireframes and prototypes to define product structure and functionality. - Prototyping & Usability Testing: Design and build interactive prototypes for user validation. Plan and execute usability tests, analyze results, and iterate on designs. - Visual Design & UI Development: Create high-fidelity mockups and design systems consistent with brand guidelines. Ensure designs are visually appealing, accessible, and responsive. - Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate design seamlessly. Communicate design rationale and specifications effectively. - Design System & Best Practices: Contribute to a robust design system for consistency and efficiency. Implement best practices in UI/UX design, accessibility, and usability. - Mentorship & Growth: Potentially mentor junior designers, provide feedback, and contribute to team development. In terms of qualifications, you should have: - 5-7 years of professional experience as a UI/UX Designer with a focus on digital products. - A compelling online portfolio showcasing diverse UI/UX projects. - Expertise in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator. - Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, design thinking, and usability heuristics. - Knowledge of front-end development technologies and their impact on design. - Excellent communication skills to articulate design decisions clearly. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in visual design. - A Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or related field. Good to have skills include experience with animation, familiarity with agile methodologies, A/B testing, accessibility standards, and working on enterprise-level applications or complex systems.
