Senior UI/UX designer

As a Senior UI/UX Designer at our fast-growing healthcare startup focused on telemedicine and digital health solutions, your primary responsibility will be to design intuitive, accessible, and compliant user experiences across multiple healthcare applications. You will collaborate closely with our co-founder and development team to create design systems that scale across our patient app, doctor consultation platform, and partner portals. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and maintain comprehensive design systems across all applications - Design optimal workflows for patients, doctors, and healthcare partners - Ensure all designs meet healthcare accessibility standards - Create interactive prototypes for user testing and stakeholder validation - Develop consistent, professional visual identity across all touchpoints - Understand and design for clinical workflows and healthcare provider needs - Design empathetic, easy-to-use interfaces for patients of varying tech comfort levels - Ensure designs support healthcare data privacy requirements - Balance needs of patients, doctors, medical stores, and administrators - Work closely with co-founder, developers, and product stakeholders - Create detailed specifications for React/React Native implementation - Conduct user interviews and usability testing with healthcare professionals and patients - Rapidly iterate based on user feedback and business requirements **Required Qualifications:** - 3+ years UI/UX design experience, preferably in healthcare, fintech, or other regulated industries - Portfolio demonstrating complex user flows, design systems, and mobile-first design - Proficiency in design tools: Figma (required), Adobe Creative Suite, prototyping tools - Design system experience: Creating and maintaining scalable design components and guidelines - Understanding of healthcare workflows or willingness to learn medical terminology and processes - Accessibility expertise: WCAG compliance, designing for diverse user abilities - Basic frontend knowledge: Understanding of React/React Native implementation constraints and possibilities - Experience designing for web and mobile applications **Soft Skills:** - Understanding the sensitive nature of healthcare interactions - Comfortable with fast pace, changing priorities, and wearing multiple hats - Ability to articulate design decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders - Strong focus on user-centred design principles As a valued member of our team, you will have a direct impact on healthcare delivery and patient outcomes while enjoying a competitive salary, professional development opportunities in healthcare technology, a remote-friendly work environment with flexible hours, and access to a modern tech stack and design tools.,
