Senior UI UX and Web Designer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced UI/UX Designer with a strong background in creating engaging, user-centric, and visually appealing digital experiences across web platforms. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of proven experience in user interface design, user experience research, and design systems, and will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and stakeholders to bring ideas to life.

This role requires a balance of creative and analytical thinking someone who can translate complex business requirements into intuitive design solutions that enhance usability, accessibility, and brand experience.

Key Responsibilities

User Experience (UX) Design

• Conduct user research, competitive analysis, and usability testing to uncover user needs and pain points.
• Develop user personas, journey maps, task flows, and wireframes to visualize the user experience.
• Translate insights into clear design strategies and prototypes.
• Apply UX principles and human-centered design methodologies to deliver optimal solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers to define user stories and acceptance criteria.

User Interface (UI) Design

• Create pixel-perfect, visually compelling user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Develop and maintain scalable design systems, style guides, and UI component libraries.
• Work on responsive and adaptive design solutions for different screen sizes and devices.
• Ensure visual consistency and alignment with brand identity and accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs through design handoff tools (e.g., Figma).

Key Skills and Competencies

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools: Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, InVision, Miro.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (for effective developer collaboration).
• Experience in creating and managing design systems and component libraries.
• Familiarity with user testing tools (Hotjar, Maze, UserTesting, etc.) and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel).
• Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and responsive design principles.
