Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Senior Test Engineer with 3 to 8 years of experience in IT Services & Consulting, specifically in the area of Rest Assured with Java API and Database Testing skills. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise and excellent problem-solving skills.

Roles and Responsibility

Design and develop comprehensive test plans and cases for testing RESTful APIs using Java.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements.
Develop and execute automated tests using Rest Assured framework to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Analyze and troubleshoot defects found during testing, working closely with development teams to resolve issues.
Participate in agile development methodologies, providing feedback and suggestions for process improvements.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve testing processes.

Job Requirements

Strong understanding of Java programming language and its application in API testing.
Experience with Rest Assured framework for building test automation frameworks.
Proficiency in database testing, including writing complex queries and analyzing results.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide creative solutions.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in agile development environments.
Ability to work independently, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Must-Have: Rest Assured with Java API, Database Testing skills.
Good to have: Snap logic, Aerospike.
