Job Description

Role Description

Manage automation testing suites/cases.Identify automation areas and write the automation test cases using python/selenium.Understand IOT Products and functionality.Execute regression suites prior to Production release and other repeatable tests to maintain product
Quality.Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.Work in a dynamic environment and come up with solutions to meet project needs.Communicate with Client and end customers in written and verbal.
Contributes on all aspects of Testing, QA Framework for existing projects and Projects from Scratch.Should be able to interact with client and customers for Escalated Customer Issues/Bugs.Peer Review of other QA members work.Document Automation processes, methods and help in Demo as necessary.
Self-starter, comfortable working independently and in team settingsExperience creating test cases leveraging software feature and design specification documents.Experience testing in an Agile software development model.
Knowledge of system dependencies and inter-process communicationsManual test experience:UI (web-based front end) and command line interface test case execution
Automation:Robot Framework, Selenium, Python, CI/CD, BitbucketScript creation and executionDebugging:Automation failure log analysis
Root cause analysis, experience debugging test setup and script failures
Defect reporting and maintenance:Filing bugs using Jira or similar tool.Bug reproduction
Collaborating with development teams and driving open issues to close

Technical Skills

Skills Requirements:

Proficient in Automation testing tools such as Selenium or Appium
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript
Experience with Test Automation frameworks and best practices
Familiarity with Agile testing methodologies
Must have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Must understand the company's long-term vision and align with it.
Provide leadership, guidance, and support to team members, ensuring the successful completion of tasks, and promoting a positive work environment that fosters collaboration and productivity, taking responsibility of the whole team.

Nice-to-have skills

API Testing.
Exposure to Mobile App testing is an added advantage.

Qualifications

4-6 years of work experience in relevant field
B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech or MCA degree from a reputed university. Computer science background is preferred
