In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.As a Senior Test Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test strategies to validate software functionality against business requirements.You will collaborate closely with the development and product teams to understand the software architecture, identify potential testing challenges, and develop robust test cases.Your experience in leading test efforts and mentoring junior team members will be invaluable as we strive to enhance our testing processes. Designing and executing automated test scripts for both new and existing features.
Creating and maintaining test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
Collaborating with development and product teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software.
Identifying, recording, and tracking defects, ensuring timely resolution through effective communication with the development team.
Participating in code reviews and contributing to development best practices for quality assurance.
Mentoring junior QA engineers and sharing knowledge on testing methodologies and best practices.
Evaluating and recommending testing tools, technologies, and processes to enhance the overall testing strategy.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation and manual testing.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# and experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium or JUnit.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies, including agile and waterfall.
Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
