Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Performs MRI/CT imaging procedures on appropriate anatomical regions in accordance with accepted standards of practice and protocols of the individual site Radiologist.
Completes and signs Patient Screening form and explains the procedure to the patient.
Maintains patient carecomfort and safety during transport to and from the coach and during the exam.
Under guidance and approval of site Radiologistadministers contrast agents according to site-specific protocols.
Cooperates with facility healthcare personnel and complies with facility policies and procedures.
Maintains current Permits to Practice in all states in which services are performed.
Provide images to the facility in the desired site format.
Performs equipment quality checks and troubleshoots problems. Calls for service and notifies all pertinent team members.
May assist with the set up and tear down of equipment in accordance with SMS and/or manufacturers guidelines.
Maintains a clean environment inside and outside of the facility.
Completes necessary administrative tasks. ie: time reportsbillingQAetc.
Follows quality assurance guidelines and maintains patient confidentiality.
Complies with all safety policies and regulations.
Performs additional duties as required.

Candidate Requirements:

Must be able to produce very high quality special imaging with little supervision.
Must be willing and able to assist the Radiologist in his/her interpretation of exams.
Must be able to function effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Must be flexiblereliable and demonstrate sound judgment and initiative.
