Senior Technical Writer

As a Senior Technical Writer at our company in Mumbai, you will be responsible for producing high-quality documentation that enhances the usability of our products. Collaborating with developers, quality engineers, product managers, and usability experts, you will work towards creating user-friendly content that contributes to the overall success of our products. Your key responsibilities will include working closely with internal teams to deeply understand the product and documentation requirements, creating documentation that adheres to relevant standards and is tailored to the target audience, crafting clear user interface text, online help, and user guides, as well as identifying opportunities for content reuse and single-sourcing. To excel in this role, you should have proven experience in technical writing for software documentation, possess the ability to deliver top-notch documentation, demonstrate proficiency in simplifying complex technical concepts into easily understandable text and visuals, exhibit excellent English language skills both verbally and in writing, and be familiar with tools like Subversion, BitBucket, Jira, and imaging software for screen capturing and illustrating. Ideally, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Communications, or a related technology-focused field. Previous experience in technical subjects such as computer science or web design would be advantageous. Moreover, having at least 4 years of experience in technical writing or a related field will be beneficial for this permanent position.
