Senior Technical Specialist

As an R&D Engineer, you will conduct target-oriented research, directly applying your findings to enhance the specification, design, and continuous improvement of products, services, and systems. This role involves integrating, verifying, testing, and modifying software components, capitalizing on innovative solutions to meet specific requirements.

Candidates should possess strong expertise in Cloud Native, Microservices, Containers, and Virtualization Technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), Helm, Ansible, Envoy/Istio, and Consul, along with open-source integration. A deep understanding of Cloud Native design and development principles, coupled with excellent analytical and debugging skills, is essential, ideally complemented by exposure to Agile development methodologies.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

• Designing and developing solutions using Cloud Native Principles, coupled with excellent analytical and debugging skills.
• Work on Agile development methodologies, data transformation for analytical processes, working with APIs, and possess knowledge of the RFI/RFQ/RFP tendering process.
• Utilize and apply expertise in Linux, Kubernetes, and Docker, including platforms like RedHat OpenShift and VMware, while demonstrating strong knowledge of System Software & OS Concepts (processes, threads, memory management, synchronization) to develop and maintain robust systems.
• Implement and manage secure protocols (TLS/DTLS/SSH), encryption methodologies, and ciphers to design and maintain robust system security.
• Develop and automate software solutions in Linux/UNIX environments using Java/Spring Boot, leveraging continuous integration tools (Jenkins, SVN, Git/Gerrit) and CI/CD pipelines

Qualifications

Must Have:

• 6-12 years of relevant experience in the telecom industry with an Engineering Graduation or a post-graduation degree
• Experience with Cloud Native, Microservices, Containers and Virtualization Technologies like Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), Helm, Ansible, Envoy/Istio, Consul and Open Source Integration
• Expert in Design and Development using Cloud Native Principles with Analytical and debugging skills
• Expert with Cloud Native, Microservices, Containers, and Virtualization Technologies
• Exposure to Agile development methodologies
• Proficiency in Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, and exposure to platforms like RedHat OpenShift and VMware

Good to have:

• Working knowledge on secure protocols ( TLS/DTLS/SSH ), Encryption methodology, Ciphers etc.
• Knowledge on RFI/RFQ/RFP tendering process
