Senior Technical Program Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager (STPM) to lead and coordinate transformative IT projects across our organization. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise, excellent leadership skills, and a strong ability to drive cross-functional teams toward the successful execution of complex IT initiatives. The STPM will be responsible for overseeing project planning, execution, and delivery while ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology strategies. This role will work primarily with IT infrastructure teams and coordinate with project managers in a different department to ensure smooth collaboration and alignment. Key Responsibilities: Program Leadership: Drive the end-to-end execution of large-scale, transformative IT programs, ensuring seamless integration across business and technical teams. Project Coordination: Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones while tracking progress and mitigating risks proactively. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business leaders, IT infrastructure teams, vendors, and external partners to align project goals and deliverables with business objectives. Coordinate with project managers from other departments to ensure seamless cross-functional integration. Technical Oversight: Work closely with engineering and architecture teams to provide guidance on technical feasibility, design decisions, and implementation strategies. Risk & Issue Management: Identify, track, and resolve project risks and dependencies to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery. Budget & Resource Management: Develop cost estimates, manage budgets, and allocate resources efficiently to maximize project impact. Agile & Process Optimization: Implement Agile methodologies and best practices to improve program efficiency and team collaboration. Reporting & Communication: Provide regular updates to executive leadership on program status, key metrics, and strategic recommendations. Qualifications & Requirements: 10+ years of experience in IT program/project management, with a focus on large-scale technology initiatives. Strong technical background in IT infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, or software development. Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Expertise in Agile, Scrum, and other project management methodologies (certifications such as PMP, CSM, or SAFe preferred). Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels.
