Senior Technical Consultant - COTS

Titan, a leading international business in the digital industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Consultant-COTS to join our Systems department in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. As a Senior Technical Consultant-COTS, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support for our commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software products.

Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as the subject matter expert for all COTS software products used by the company

- Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and clients on COTS software implementation, customization, and troubleshooting

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues related to COTS software

- Conduct research and stay updated on the latest developments and updates in COTS software

- Develop and maintain technical documentation and training materials for COTS software products

- Participate in the evaluation and selection of new COTS software products to meet business needs

- Lead and mentor junior technical consultants on COTS software best practices and methodologies

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical consulting role, with a focus on COTS software

- Strong understanding of COTS software implementation, customization, and integration

- Experience with various COTS software products, such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, etc.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Willingness to travel for client meetings and project implementations

Work Experience

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in managing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or similar cloud platforms.
• Strong knowledge of OCI services (Compute, Block/Object Storage, VCN, Load Balancers, Autonomous DB, etc.).
• Experience with OCI CLI, Resource Manager (Terraform), and/or SDKs.
• Good understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VPN, Load Balancing, IPsec, etc.).
• Familiarity with backup, high availability, and disaster recovery strategies in OCI.
• Experience with monitoring tools like OCI Monitoring, Logging, and Notifications.
• Working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• OCI certifications (e.g., OCI Foundations, OCI Architect Associate/Professional) are highly desirable.
