🔹 Role Overview

The Senior Tech Lead – Databricks will lead the architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise-grade data platforms using Databricks and cloud technologies. The role involves mentoring teams, driving best practices, and delivering high-performance data solutions.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of Databricks-based data solutions
• Architect, build, and optimize batch and streaming data pipelines
• Provide technical leadership and mentor data engineering teams
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and delivery plans
• Ensure adherence to data security, governance, and compliance standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex Spark and Databricks issues
• Drive performance tuning and cost optimization initiatives
• Create reusable frameworks, templates, and technical documentation

🔹 Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in

  Data Engineering

  using

  Databricks / Apache Spark

• Strong expertise in

  ETL / ELT pipeline development

• Hands-on experience with

  Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Azure Synapse

• Proficiency in

  Python, Scala, SQL, PySpark, Spark SQL

• Experience with

  Delta Lake, Delta Live Tables, Medallion Architecture

• Knowledge of orchestration using

  ADF / Databricks Jobs

• Experience with

  Unity Catalog, RBAC, Azure Key Vault

• Familiarity with

  Git, CI/CD pipelines, performance tuning

• Streaming data experience with

  Kafka

  (preferred)
• Strong technical leadership and mentoring skills

🔹 Nice to Have

• Databricks Certified Data Engineer (Professional preferred)
• Exposure to

  ML / AI workloads

  on Databricks
• Multi-cloud exposure (

  Azure / AWS / GCP

  )
