Senior System and Network Administrator

Role Overview: You will be responsible for building and maintaining a secure and reliable network foundation at Maersk Training. As a Senior System and Network Administrator, you will have the opportunity to design, implement, and manage network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security. Reporting directly to the Head of IT Operations, you will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to address technical challenges and align with corporate IT guidelines. Key Responsibilities: - Plan, configure, and document network infrastructure for high performance and reliability. - Monitor and troubleshoot network-related issues in the technical environment. - Perform systems and software administration, problem resolution, and change management. - Maintain operational and configuration procedures to facilitate changes. - Develop automation tools/scripts for system administration tasks. - Establish configuration standards for Windows server operating systems and network infrastructure. - Provide detailed performance monitoring, root cause analysis, and documentation. - Ensure compliance with corporate IT rules and guidelines while managing multiple assignments. - Collaborate across cultures and time zones to support the global organization. Qualification Required: - Proven experience in network infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance, preferably on the Fortinet platform. - Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. - Strong expertise in enterprise-level IT infrastructure, including Windows, network patching, and configuration. - Knowledge of the latest security principles and risk mitigation strategies. - Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across diverse teams and cultures. - Agile mindset focused on continuous improvement and best practices.
