As a Senior Support Engineer (L2) in the Traffic Business Unit based in Ahmedabad, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth implementation of the ICD 2.5 interface control document at both new and existing toll plazas. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading the implementation of the ICD 2.5 interface control document at new and existing toll plazas, ensuring compliance with all technical and business requirements. - Working with hardware vendors to ensure data capture and message formats align with specifications. - Integrating acquiring banks, host systems, and the central mapper/switch via APIs or files as defined in ICD 2.5. - Monitoring transaction flows, TATs, exception/violation cases, blacklist/whitelist management, settlement files, and reporting. - Conducting UAT/POC testing for toll-plaza onboarding under ICD 2.5. - Addressing failure scenarios, reconciliation, dispute management, settlement differences, and audit requirements per specification. - Providing MIS and operational dashboards such as daily settlement summary, raw data files, incoming/outgoing files, violation reports, etc. - Maintaining documentation, change-control, and versioning for ICD 2.5 compliance, liaising with regulatory/oversight agencies. Additionally, your role will involve: - Proven work experience as a technical support engineer. - Experience in implementing software solutions and scripting languages like SQL/My SQL and Postgres. - Installing and upgrading Postgres and corresponding application tools. - Troubleshooting complex hardware and software issues and providing step-by-step technical help. - Escalating unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams. - Installing and configuring operating systems, anti-virus software, and other applications. - Managing backups of servers and main databases. - Responding to client support requests and diagnosing software, networking, or hardware issues. - Participating in data analysis, mapping, and configuration meetings. - Providing technical support on-site or via remote-access systems. - Repairing hardware malfunctions, software issues, and networking problems. - Tracking and managing work records, coordinating with the L3 team to resolve issues, and ensuring all issues are properly logged. - Extending user support and training to customers with good communication and documentation skills.
