Description
As a Warehouse Supervisor at Micron Technology, your role is crucial in ensuring the efficient distribution of physical goods for both internal and external traffic requirements. You will lead a team to maintain error-free packaging, inventory management, and shipment of Finished Goods. Your direct interaction with internal departments, customers, suppliers, and global sites will play a vital role in meeting customer requirements while upholding product quality, service standards, and consistency. - Manage team member performance by setting expectations, providing coaching and career development opportunities, establishing and monitoring performance goals, conducting appraisals, and offering feedback. - Oversee the enhancement of systemic and functional area performance by managing workload distribution, creating and maintaining processes and procedures, and fostering the personal development of your team through performance appraisals and development plans. - Build an effective team by prioritizing work, removing barriers, ensuring accountability, managing staffing and succession planning, distributing work efficiently, empowering team members, and promoting teamwork. - Oversee the service delivery of the functional area by providing guidance on work execution, troubleshooting escalated issues, communicating policies and procedures, facilitating training, identifying and implementing improvements, and monitoring performance metrics. - Promote collaboration, provide project support, act as a liaison between the team and customer groups, support department performance improvement and cost reduction initiatives, lead or participate in special projects, assist with workloads, mentor cross-functional team members, and foster partnership across functional areas and customer groups. Education Desired: - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Management, Production and Operations Management (POM), Supply Chain Management, or a related field of study. Experience Desired: - 5-10 years of experience in Production/Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Warehouse/Inventory Control.
