Senior Structural Engineer – Staircase & Metal Structures

Experienc Required : 6–12 years (relevant structural & fabrication experience)

Role Overview

experienced Structural Engineer

guide fabrication, resolve site challenges, and improve structural systems

Key Responsibilities

• Structural design and analysis of

  complex staircase systems

  (helical, spiral, cantilever, folded plate, mono-stringer).
• Engineering of

  MS structural components

  used in staircases, balconies, and railings.
• Guidance on

  sheet bending, rolling, plate forming, and welded assemblies

  .
• Review and optimize

  fabrication drawings

  , shop drawings, and production details.
• Work closely with

  fabrication, installation, and design teams

  to ensure structural feasibility.
• Solve

  site-specific structural challenges

  and provide corrective engineering solutions.
• Improve existing

  staircase structural standards

  , load paths, and connection detailing.
• Support innovation in

  new staircase concepts and complex geometries

  .

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in

  MS structural fabrication

  .
• Hands-on knowledge of:
• Sheet bending & rolling
• Plate forming
• Welded steel structures
• Expertise in

  structural load calculations

  , deflection control, and stability checks.
• Ability to engineer

  non-standard, architect-driven designs

  .
• Practical understanding of

  fabrication limitations and site constraints

  .

Preferred / Bonus Experience (Highly Valued)

• Prior experience in:

• Helical / spiral staircase engineering

• Complex architectural metal structures
• Familiarity with:
• AutoCAD / SolidWorks / Tekla / STAAD (any relevant tools)
• Experience working with

  architectural firms or premium residential projects
