The engineer will be responsible for providing technical knowledge and working collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. The role involves guiding junior engineers, ensuring the highest standards of engineering design, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Actively seek and implement new and improved work methods to enhance project efficiency and outcomes.
• Contribute in decision-making processes and ensuring effective project coordination.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers, optimizing their learning curve and fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Working with drafting team to create detailed structural drawings.
• Listen to clients' needs, independently evaluate options, and provide value by considering first cost and life cycle cost in engineering solutions.
• Prepare and oversee engineering designs from conceptual design through construction, ensuring compliance with professional standards and regulations.
• Coordinate project design activities, work schedules, and communicate with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and other professionals.
• Attend design review meetings.
• Inspect and analyze existing buildings for safety and viability, providing recommendations for improvements or remediation.
• Identify and solve design and construction challenges, collaborating with the project team to achieve project objectives.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed throughout the project lifecycle.
• Use FEM software and structural analysis tools for modeling and analysis.
• Stay updated on building codes, standards, and regulations relevant to structural engineering.
• Manage and respond to emails related to ongoing projects, inquiries, and coordination.
• Using email and work drives (clouds) as a tool for documentation, keeping a record of important project-related discussions and decisions.
• Prepare and monitor work plans, scopes, and schedules, ensuring adherence to project timelines.
• Perform calculations, analyses, and provide recommendations, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Review and ensure compliance in project components, including drawings, reports, specifications, and studies.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with project partners and stakeholders, fostering collaboration and successful project outcomes.
• Complete tasks (Design structural elements, build and analyze structural models)
  under the guidance of Mr. Rajesh Shirakol as part of the progress towards Research and Development in the field of construction and civil engineering.

Qualifications:

• M.Tech/ME in Structural Engineering /Industrial buildings.
• 4 - 8 years of experience in a similar role.
• Analytical mindset with a self-learning attitude, capable of performing design reviews on varied projects.
• Proficient in steel, composite and reinforced concrete structural calculations, finite element analysis, and application.
• Thorough understanding of the finite element method and dynamic analysis.
• Proficient in STAAD-pro, ETABS, SAFE, AutoCAD, and Excel.
• Ability to guide and check work for junior colleagues.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with project teams, clients, and stakeholders
