Senior Specialist - SAP BASIS and HANA

As a Procedure Owner at SAP, you will be part of the ECS Delivery Productization team, working alongside experts and architects from different ECS Delivery units. Your main responsibility will be to standardize and optimize end-to-end operations processes in collaboration with the development organization. By focusing on tool and procedure standardization and automation in the NetWeaver & Database area, including multi-cloud aspects (AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform), with a special emphasis on Monitoring integration, you will play a key role in enhancing efficiency and reducing the total cost of ownership (TCO). Your tasks will include taking ownership of integration scenarios, operational processes, driving standardization and automation, and engaging with operation teams to continuously improve processes and tools. Key Responsibilities: - Enable and support ECS Delivery units through tool and procedure standardization and automation - Own integration scenarios and operational processes to increase efficiency - Drive standardization and automation to reduce manual effort and cost structure (lower TCO) - Engage with operation teams to improve processes and tools continuously - Define and implement a roadmap for requirements engineering (Roll-in/ Rollout) processes Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP Technical Administration with SAP BASIS skills - Proficiency in Cloud infrastructure, system administration, or technical consulting in SAP cloud implementation & migration projects - Strong SAP BASIS and system operations know-how, preferably in a multi-cloud environment - Experience in system installations, client administration, system refresh/copy, and application update/upgrades - Knowledge of integrated E2E Lifecycle Management Procedures design and structuring - Familiarity with OS, Database & Infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Experience working in international teams About the Line of Business: SAP Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) is SAP's private cloud managed services provider that is experiencing accelerated growth and enabling customers to transition to the cloud.
