Senior Specialist - SAP BASIS and HANA

As a Procedure Owner at SAP, you will play a crucial role in the ECS Delivery Productization team by focusing on end-to-end operations process standardization and optimization. Your responsibilities will include: - Enabling and supporting ECS Delivery units through tool and procedure standardization and automation in the NetWeaver & Database area, covering multi-cloud aspects such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, with a special focus on Monitoring integration. - Taking ownership of integration scenarios, operational processes, and driving standardization and automation to increase efficiency and lower the total cost of ownership (TCO). - Engaging with operation teams to continuously improve processes and tools, including requirements engineering (Roll-in/Rollout) and defining a corresponding roadmap. In your role, you will manage relationships between different stakeholder groups both inside and outside ECS Delivery, take ownership of integration scenarios and operational processes, and drive issue resolution while focusing on increasing automation and stabilization improvements to reduce manual effort and cost structure. To be successful in this role, you should have: - 9-13 years of SAP Technical Administration experience with SAP BASIS skills, including knowledge and experience in the administration, monitoring, and operations of SAP solutions. - Professional experience in Cloud infrastructure, system administration, or as a technical consultant in SAP cloud implementation & migration projects. - Strong SAP BASIS and system operations know-how, ideally in a multi-cloud environment. - Best practices experience in an SAP application/technology/solution (NetWeaver). - Sound knowledge of BASIS activities like System Installations, Client Administration, System Refresh/Copy, and application update/upgrades. - Knowledge in the design and structuring of integrated E2E Lifecycle Management Procedures. - Good knowledge of OS, Database & Infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) would be an added advantage. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, willingness, and experience working in international teams. - Ideally familiar with trending technologies and tools.
