What you will do? A rchitect and design scalable, secure, and high-performance backup solutions that align with business needs and technical requirements. E valuate and select appropriate cloud storage services (e.g., AWS S3, Google Cloud Storage, Azure Blob Storage) based on cost, performance, and scalability. D evelop and implement robust cloud backup strategies to protect critical data and ensure business continuity. D efine backup and disaster recovery strategies, including backup frequency, retention policies, and failover solutions. I mplement cloud-based backup solutions (e.g., AWS Backup, Azure Backup) and ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure. I mplement encryption, access controls, and other security measures to protect data in transit and at rest. R egularly assess security risks and perform vulnerability assessments to ensure cloud storage and backup systems remain secure. C ontinuously monitor cloud storage and backup performance, troubleshooting and resolving issues as needed to maintain optimal performance and uptime. A nalyze storage and backup data to identify inefficiencies and recommend optimizations for cost reduction and performance improvement. W ork closely with the DevOps, IT operations, and cybersecurity teams to define and implement cloud storage and backup best practices. D ocument architecture designs, backup processes, and disaster recovery procedures for internal reference and audit purposes. P rovide guidance and training to internal teams on cloud storage and backup policies W hat you will bring? E xperience- 10-15yrs E xperience in any one of the enterprise backups solutions like Dell EMC, Commvault, Veritas, Cohesity, etc. D eep understanding about the Database backup concepts and experiecne in HANA is added advantage. D eep knowledge in Cloud Storages and network D emonstrate advanced expertise in cloud storages in the publcloud uch as AWS, Azure, GCP and expert in any one of them. A dvanced technical background of Linux based server operating systems (Redhat or SUSE ) A bility to create good documentation for junior colleagues to implement technical plans as per customer requirements. F luency in English language and the ability to work in global, multi-cultural teams is a key requirement. A bility to continuously acquire new knowledge in an independent and proactive way.
