Senior Specialist - Quality Engineering

As a QA Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities: - Developing, documenting, and maintaining test plans and procedures for manual and automation testing - Developing, documenting, and maintaining automation scripts for testing - Integrating test automation with continuous integration and deployment (CICD) pipelines in collaboration with DevOps - Supporting efforts to meet integration and performance expectations with web, mobile, and database systems - Developing and maintaining test automation scripts and complex SQL queries - Independently analyzing, solving, and correcting issues in real-time, providing end-to-end problem resolution - Collaborating to define, document, improve, and automate processes, track issues to resolution, and document changes - Participating in scheduled and ad-hoc deployment activities during business hours and occasionally during off-hours as necessary - Sharing domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to peers - Working independently and as part of a team, engaging and interacting with technical support, product management, developers, DevOps, and occasionally end users to understand issues and requirements - Utilizing repositories and tracking systems such as Git, Confluence, and JIRA for documentation, test scripts, test results, configuration, and supporting data - Documenting architecture issues, solutions, recommendations, testing procedures, automation scripts, data sets, and environments - Researching and recommending emerging tools, frameworks, and methodologies to match innovation and continuous improvement goals and initiatives of the organization Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - 5 years of QA experience with some Automation experience - Experience in various types of testing including smoke, system integration, regression, performance, load, user acceptance, black/white box, etc. - Ability to write, read, and understand code in Python, JavaScript, SQL, C, and others - Experience in testing web services, APIs, UI, cross-browser, mobile web, and mobile - Experience with test automation platforms, systems, and tools such as Selenium, JMeter, K6, Postman, Robot Framework, Cucumber/Gherkin, etc. - Preferred knowledge and/or experience of compliance with standards such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, FERPA, PCI, and ADA - Flexible team player with a "get-it-done" attitude, motivated to learn and help others - Ability to organize and plan work independently as well as under the supervision of a lead - Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment,
