Job Description

Role Overview: As a Senior Specialist, Legal Services at the GBSC (Global Business Services Center) for Mastercard, you will be part of the team responsible for building a legal shared services function. You will primarily work on contract negotiation within the broader GBSC Legal Services team. Reporting to the Director, Contract Services, you will be accountable for delivering positive customer experiences and efficient business results. Key Responsibilities: - Perform end to end contract preparation and execution processes for assigned portfolio of transactions - Review, draft, and negotiate routine vendor and commercial contracts - Ensure all agreements are prepared, revised, and executed in consultation with the business unit client and subject matter experts - Analyze contract requirements, terms, and conditions to ensure compliance with laws and regulations - Provide superior customer service according to GBSC standards Qualifications Required: - LLB degree combined with relevant experience - Solid legal and business acumen with analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to manage workloads involving tasks of varying priority and complexity - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with key stakeholders - Advanced negotiation skills and customer-focused service orientation - Knowledge of legal systems and business practices in multiple regions is a plus Additional Details: We are specifically looking for a qualified lawyer for this position. Candidates with skills in data analysis, including the ability to analyze multiple data sets, derive meaningful metrics, and generate comprehensive reports for executive leadership, will have an advantage. The ideal candidate should be able to manage and interpret data effectively, as well as communicate findings clearly and impactfully.,
